For Christmas Abby asked Santa for a ball python. I know Christmas was a while ago but we finally were able to pick up a snake for her.
Meet Sam.
He's a 2-year-old red tail boa constrictor. He's a pretty cool guy. My favorite part about him is he only eats once every 3 weeks and his poop is the size of an M&M. I can deal with that.

Good choice in pets for her; they are very low maintenance plus makes for a great show & tell. I remember Ric had to beg his teacher to let him bring in his snake to share. I promised her I would pick it right up afterward. She stood in the corner farthest from the snake haha.
Yeah I remember Ric's snake... he told me he couldn't find it when we came to visit you guys in Washington... I was freakin my freak! Turns out Ric found out I am terrfied of snakes and it was crawling on the wall next to me... what a stinker.
